Job Purpose:
• This role oversees several key functions across Nandus’s IT department which includes Retail POS and E-commerce platform that enables delivery of high-quality application support & service to end-users to meet business needs.
• This position is Techno functional role with strong knowledge of Java web services and android based application.
• This position is a stakeholder facing role (Partners, internal customers) and requires you to establish & manage expectations within the business & drive the IT team to achieve those expectations to a high standard.
• Expected to be performing both managerial and hands-on duties including application development.

Key Accountabilities:
• Responsible for high-performance service delivery across all Nandu’s IT vertical primarily towards Retail outlet IT operations & E-commerce Operation.
• Responsible for identification of software quality requirement in business solution, co-ordinate with business users & software development team for effective implementation of POS application as per business requirement.
• Should handle Java-based POS application with backend Webservices.
• Responsible for maintaining and update Master data management at retail outlets including pricing, offers & update.
• Should handle E-commerce platform including catalogue creation, offers update and reporting
• Document change requirement as per the business need & coordinate with a partner to develop the solution & perform UAT before release.
• Monitor, control and support service delivery; ensuring systems, methodologies and procedures are in place and followed
• Handle remote location and support, guide & train users when required.

Experience and Skills:
• Qualification BE or bachelor’s degree in computer science.
• Relevant Experience of Minimum 4 plus years in IT (min 2 years as a software developer) & application support lead
• Experience in Retail POS is preferable.
• Strong hands-on JAVA and web services. A full-stack developer would be preferable.
• Should have knowledge on Mysql and other Database
• Should have strong knowledge on E-commerce solution platform.
• Experience in software product-based companies with good knowledge of release management.
• Proficiency in SDLC methodologies, Quality testing in various stages of SDLC

• Challenge the ‘Status Quo’ and make a recommendation and bring new ideas/ innovation.
• Strengthen to the operation and bring the data-driven environment backed up with Policy, Procedure, Reporting, Review structure.
• Look at the possibility to Automate the BAU to bring efficiency
• Work with internal and third-party teams to ensure actions are taken and completed to protect and improve services
• Provide regular and accurate management reporting on IT Service performance.
